About this settlement
Credit Suisse Securities USA, Credit Suisse First Boston Mortgage Securities Corp. and DLJ Mortgage Capital agreed to pay $300 million in restitution.
The New Jersey Bureau of Securities alleged the companies made false or misleading statements and engaged in deceptive conduct related to certain residential mortgage-backed securities.
Credit Suisse denied the allegations and settled without admitting or denying the Bureau's findings.

Did you acquire eligible Credit Suisse RMBS certificates before December 18, 2013?
Eligibility requirements
You may qualify when:
- 1You purchased or acquired an interest in a covered RMBS trust certificate before December 18, 2013.
- 2The certificates were part of an eligible Home Equity Mortgage Trust or Home Equity Asset Trust series.
- 3You are the beneficial owner or an authorized legal representative.
- 4You can document the relevant transactions.
Claimants must provide taxpayer identification, purchase and sale dates, CUSIP numbers, face values, transaction prices and supporting brokerage or trade records.
Payment details
Payments will be distributed proportionally based on the court-approved allocation plan. The amount depends on the securities purchased, transaction dates, quantities, sale prices and total valid claims.
Calculated payments below $100 will not be distributed.
