Google LLC and YouTube LLC agreed to pay $7.5 million to resolve allegations that they did not comply with California's automatic renewal law when selling YouTube TV subscriptions.
Google and YouTube deny the allegations and agreed to settle to avoid the cost and uncertainty of continued litigation.

Did you pay for a YouTube TV subscription renewal while living in California?
Eligibility requirements
You may qualify when:
- 1You paid for at least one renewal term between February 1, 2017, and October 29, 2021.
- 2You purchased the subscription directly through YouTube billing.
- 3The subscription was for personal, family or household use.
- 4You lived in California when the subscription renewed.
You are not eligible when
- ×You subscribed through Apple's App Store.
- ×You canceled during a free trial.
- ×You received a full refund from Google or YouTube.
You must provide the email address or phone number connected to your account. Online claims also require the login ID and PIN from the settlement notice.
Payment details
Approved class members may receive a proportional payment currently estimated at $92.26. The final amount depends on the number of valid claims.
